We compiled a simple list of Cancer Fighting Foods that are scientifically proven to prevent Cancer !

Brocolli : All cruciferous vegetable like cauliflower, cabbage & kale contain cancer-fighting properties, but broccoli is the only one with a sizable amount of sulforaphane, a particularly potent compound that boosts the body’s protective enzymes and flushes out cancer-causing chemicals. According to some scientifc studies sulforaphane also targets cancer stem cells—those that aid in tumor growth.Broccoli makes you strong !

The more broccoli, the better, research suggests—so add it wherever you can, from salads to omelets to the top of your pizza. Tomatoes:  Known to be the best dietary source of lycopene. Lycopene is a carotenoid that gives tomatoes their red hue, that is known to prevent endometrial cancer cell growth. Pasta SauceTomatoes are best had cooked like in Pasta Sauce as the heating process enables our body to absorb lycopene better. Lycopene helps fight endometrial, lung, prostate, and stomach cancers .

 

 

Mushrooms: Shiitake, maitake, reishi, appear to help the body fight cancer and build the immune system. These mushrooms contain polysaccharides, especially Lentinan, powerful compounds that help in building immunity. They are a source of Beta Glucan. They also have a protein called lectin, which attacks cancerous cells and prevents them from multiplying. They also contain Thioproline.
